Introduction
Hello and welcome to Beloved Norfolk, our new site which unashamedly extols the virtues of this beautiful county. All the photographs have been taken by our own team and aim to show the variation the county has to offer. Norfolk isn't flat - ask anyone who has hiked up Beeston Hump! It has stunning beaches, interesting small towns, picturesque villages, forests, windmills, watermills, airmills (thats wind turbines) and, of course, the famous Norfolk Broads.
Our photographs show some of the old favourites that everyone who has ever visited us knows, but also some of the more tucked out of the way gems that are still mostly a closely guarded secret, at least thats what the locals will tell you. Talking of which you will be hard pressed to find a more friendly down to earth bunch than the people who live in this blessed part of the world, if you take the trouble to get to know them that is. Contrary to popular opinion we don't all talk like Bernard Matthews, drive tractors or harvest mangol wurzels.
